SAFE® is the first International
Fitness Education Academy to be launched in
the Middle-East. Through the years,
Karim
Strougo, Founder and Managing Partner of
STEP Center and Founder and President of
SAFE®, has certified hundreds of
fitness professionals who are now working in
various fitness facilities in Egypt, the
Middle-East, Europe and the United States.
At SAFE®, we have made it our
mission to take fitness education in Egypt
and the Middle-East to the international
level. In order to do so, we have taken it
upon ourselves to revolutionize fitness
education in the region.
Our “Primary
Certification in Physical Education &
Aerobics™” is now the only
internationally recognized fitness
certification based in the Middle-East. In
September 2004, we organized and hosted the
first Fitness Convention in the history of
Egypt and the Middle-East. In January 2005,
Karim Strougo gave a free seminar on lateral
thinking in the fitness field entitled
“Getting out of the box”, which was attended
by the elite fitness professionals in Egypt.
Since February 2005, we have also managed to
establish ourselves as the Middle-East
representative for the two major production
companies for fitness music in the world :
Power Music and Muscle Mixes. We are also
the sole agents in the Middle-East for the
distribution of DVD workouts of fitness
super-star Christi Taylor.
In September 2005, SAFE®
organized and hosted the first International
Fitness Convention in the history of the
Middle-East, under the name of “Global
Wellness”. The Convention featured some of
the biggest names in the fitness industry in
the world.
SAFE® intends to maintain this
tradition every two years. Fitness
professionals in Egypt and the Middle-East
will no longer have to travel to Europe or
the United States to renew their
certifications or to get certified. It will
all be available to them here, in Egypt,
with the compliments of SAFE®!
